A culture for everyone, where we win together
At Messer, inclusion is part of who we are. It is rooted in our values and reflected in how we work with each other, our customers, and our communities. By welcoming diverse perspectives, we listen more effectively, collaborate more strongly, and make better, more objective decisions. This mindset honors the many cultures, customs, and backgrounds that shape our global identity and reinforce what it means to be One Messer.
Our inclusive culture helps every individual feel seen, heard, and valued. It fuels engagement, innovation, and sustainable growth by creating a workplace where people can thrive based on their talent, merit, diligent work, and contributions.
We strengthen our culture through our Culture & Engagement (C&E) initiatives, built on three pillars:
- Education: Building awareness of our values and removing barriers to a great workplace.
- Engagement: Creating a strong sense of belonging through participation and open feedback.
- Process: Embedding our values into our systems, policies and decision-making.
Countries and regional teams bring these pillars to life in ways that align with local customs and strategies, supported by the global Culture & Engagement Core Team.
We know that cultivating an inclusive culture is a continuous journey—and a shared responsibility for everyone at Messer.
At Messer, inclusion is not just what we do—it’s who we are.

Messer has a Global Culture & Engagement (C&E) Core Team, which is responsible for shaping and maintaining the global framework of the C&E program, ensuring the coordination of initiatives across all regions.
The Core Team collaborates with regional teams, empowering them to develop and implement tailored C&E strategies that respect cultural aspects and comply with local legislation, while aligning with our overarching global objectives.
This localized approach enables us to foster our culture through targeted initiatives and actionable strategies, ensuring that our commitment to C&E is reflected in every part of our organization.
